Introducing: On-Demand Lending (ODL)

TL;DR

On-Demand Lending (ODL) lets users list a token as collateral or launch a lending pool for any token through Teller Pro. Debit AI checks and underwrites the token, sets the lending terms, and creates the offer or pool when eligibility checks pass. Holders can borrow stablecoins without selling, and lenders can supply stablecoins to fund loans against that collateral.

List a token as collateral or launch a lending pool

On-Demand Lending adds two actions to Teller Pro: list a token as collateral from Borrow, or launch a lending pool for a token from Earn.

Search by token name or paste a contract address. Debit AI checks the token, underwrites it, and determines the lending terms. If the token qualifies, the offer or pool can be created from the same flow.

Holders can list their token as collateral and borrow stablecoins without selling it. Lenders and project communities can launch a lending pool and supply the stablecoins used to fund those loans.

Support depends on the token, network, eligibility checks, and available funding.

List a token as collateral

Select “Borrow against any token” on the Borrow page to list a token as collateral. Debit AI checks and underwrites the token, including assets that are not already listed.

  1. Search by token name or symbol, or paste its contract address. Select the correct token and network.
  2. Review the eligibility result and proposed APR, maximum loan-to-value ratio, and loan duration.
  3. Select “Add [token] as Collateral” to request the lending offer. Once it is live, continue through “Borrow with [token]” to review and complete the loan.

Adding collateral support and taking out a loan are separate steps. Borrowing still requires available funds, acceptance of the loan terms, and the required wallet approvals. Repayment releases the collateral.

Launch a lending pool for any token

The Earn page offers the other side of the market: “Launch a pool for any token.” Lenders can help establish a pool that accepts an eligible token as collateral, then supply the stablecoin used to fund its loans.

  1. Search for the collateral token or paste its contract address.
  2. Review whether a pool can be launched, the lending currency, the APR range, maximum LTV, and duration.
  3. Select “Launch the [token] pool.” Once it is live, continue to the supply screen and choose how much to deposit.

This gives a project community a practical way to fund borrowing against its token. Suppliers earn from interest on loans made through the pool. Returns depend on borrowing activity, utilization, and repayment; launching or funding a pool alone does not guarantee earnings. Withdrawals depend on available pool liquidity.

Powered by Debit AI

Debit AI checks the token contract, market liquidity, trading activity, age, and available collateral pricing. It underwrites the token and determines eligibility and the proposed lending terms. If a token does not qualify, the app gives a reason.

For an eligible request, a Debit AI agent handles the onchain offer or pool creation within its configured permissions and funding limits. The borrower or supplier can then continue through Teller Pro. Users can list collateral or launch a lending pool without configuring contracts or pricing routes themselves.

Time-based loans with no margin calls

Teller loans have a defined repayment date and no margin calls during the loan term. Borrowers must repay principal and interest, or complete an available rollover, before the loan is due. Rollovers depend on available terms and are not automatic.

If a loan is not repaid or rolled over by its due date, its collateral can be sold through a 24-hour Dutch auction to repay the lender. There is no partial liquidation or grace period.

Not financial advice. Eligibility does not constitute an endorsement. Borrowing and lending carry collateral, liquidity, and smart-contract risks.

Frequently asked questions

Does any token automatically qualify?

Any token on a supported network can be considered. It must pass the relevant eligibility checks, and borrowing requires an available, funded offer or pool.

Is searching for a token the same as borrowing?

No. Search and assessment show eligibility and terms. Creating an offer is a separate step, followed by the borrower completing the loan.

Which asset does a lender supply?

The pool’s lending currency, such as USDC. The selected token is the collateral borrowers provide.

Does the displayed APR equal lender earnings?

No. The launch screen shows borrowing rates. Supplier returns depend on how much capital is lent out, loan performance, and the pool’s mechanics.
