ALL COLLATERAL

Borrow against DMT

Teller pools accept DMT as collateral on both Ethereum and Arbitrum, at up to 25% LTV, lending USDC. The two chains use separate contracts and quote different ceilings and rates, so compare the rows before choosing. Every loan is fixed-term with no margin-call, so a price fall during the loan cannot liquidate your collateral.

Two chains, two contracts, two sets of terms

DMT is one of very few assets here with a pool on more than one network, and the two do not quote the same thing. Ethereum sits at 0x0b7f0e51cd1739d6c96982d55ad8fa634dd43a9c and Arbitrum at 0x8b0e6f19ee57089f7649a455d89d7bc6314d04e8. The Ethereum row clears 25% of collateral value at 45.1% APR; the Arbitrum row clears 22.2% at 40%.

So the choice is not only where your tokens already are. A wider ceiling means a smaller depositing for the same loan, and a cheaper rate means less to repay, and those two can point at different rows. Work out the loan you want first, then read both rows against it.

Under half a million tokens exist

The Ethereum contract reports a total supply of roughly 480,701 DMT. That is a tight float in a market where nine-figure and twelve-figure supplies are routine, and it is worth knowing before you read a ceiling: a meaningful depositing here is a meaningful share of everything in existence rather than a rounding error in a large one.

Check it yourself in a second. Call totalSupply on the contract, or read the figure off any block explorer to confirm it.

Depth is worth more than a headline number

The Ethereum pool holds four figures of USDC to lend, which puts it well up the platform’s long tail, while the Arbitrum pool runs much lighter. A ceiling you cannot fill is a ceiling on paper, so read the available principal alongside the ceiling rather than instead of it, and size the loan to what the pool can actually hand over on the day.

A term loan on a tight-float asset

Assets with small supplies move on smaller flows, and a position financed somewhere that can liquidate you tends to meet that volatility at the worst possible moment. Here the term is the whole agreement. Rate, LTV and the roll window lock when the loan opens, and the pool holds the collateral until you repay or roll.

Every loan is fixed-term with no margin-call, so a price fall during the loan cannot liquidate your collateral. Miss the due date and the collateral is forfeit. Gas is the other reason the chain matters: mainnet costs real money across the approval and the borrow, and Arbitrum costs very little.

The other rows running a single pool each are on the single-pool collateral page, alongside wQUIL.

Frequently asked questions

Which chain should I borrow DMT on?

Read both rows against the loan you want. The chains quote different ceilings and rates, so a wider ceiling on one and a cheaper rate on the other can point in different directions. Mainnet gas is the tie-breaker on a small loan.

Is the DMT on Arbitrum the same contract?

No. Ethereum is 0x0b7f0e51cd1739d6c96982d55ad8fa634dd43a9c and Arbitrum is 0x8b0e6f19ee57089f7649a455d89d7bc6314d04e8. Each pool accepts only its own chain's address.

How many DMT exist?

The Ethereum contract reports a total supply of roughly 480,701 tokens. Call totalSupply on it, or read it off a block explorer, to confirm.

How much can these pools lend?

The Ethereum pool holds four figures of USDC and the Arbitrum pool runs lighter. The live figure sits behind each row and moves as loans open and close, so size the loan to what is there on the day.

Can I be liquidated if DMT falls mid-loan?

No. There is no liquidation threshold during the term, so a drawdown changes nothing about what you owe. Missing the due date forfeits the collateral.
